It's also not a $150 TRC.

Here's one that is supposed to be a genuine 50's-era TRC:

Yup, looks like the genuine article to me too...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Based on personal experience and the experience of at least one other forumite, I believe this TRC -- and just about every piece of RIC plastic sold by this ebay seller -- is a faker: http://www.ebay.com/itm/White-Vintage-S ... 3a73492ab8

Len, is it your intention to post every TRC listed for sale?
Remember, these links won't work in six months....so we're not documenting anything here, if that's your intention.

The metal one doesn't even need a question mark after it...it's so obvious!

I'd like to post pictures of TRCs offered on eBay, and assemble a record here of what real ones look like. The pictures won't disappear.

Alright, start right clicking! :)

I hope the counterfeiters don't find this thread and start getting crafty. :?

We've never been really specific about what makes a counterfeit TRC/nameplate easy to nail. And the sales that are public, deserve to be called out.
