I like them both. NS definitely has the edge on comfort (sorry) but pointy WBs are pretty hot looking.
If it is to be, it is up to me.

Yes, those of us who play 360s.

Quite right! Luckily, I have both rounded and pointy to enjoy...Rickissippi wrote:Yes, those of us who play 360s.

I like 'em both. . . it's a mood thang.
Pointy suggests early rock and punk to me. . .
Rounded = Byrds. (Probably because I have an MG 360, even though it's a 6-er.)
Lately I've been struck by the attractiveness of the 325-350 shape.

Definitely pointy for me. the 325s, Capris and OS 330/360 are a more agrressive style, that carry a favorable styling, time notwithstanding.....

Definetly pointed horns, especially with double bindings. And of course the much prettier style is the 325/350 style to me.

Re: Does Anyone Prefer Rounded Horns Over Pointy?
Well here's my spin on this. I like the rounded horns on the mapleglo 370-12RM model because that's what I'm used to seeing in the genre. Roger McGuinns guitar looks great. I own a 360-12C63 which actually has had the oversize horns of the 360V64 series trimmed down a bit. If you look at a V series, the upper horn is really oversize but the real truth is the BINDING. Rics look fantastic with binding and you can only bind the back side of a rounded horn model. The binding makes them sound better too.....

Agree !!! There are several RRFers who attest to this truth about the better sound of the Double Bound modelssilvergp05 wrote: .... but the real truth is the BINDING. That's double-true when they also have f-holes.

Definately pointy but with binding......straight wire......how about toaster vs high gain?
