360 6 string rattle

Sorry, guys, I agree with David. If you're just starting out adjusting truss rods, etc., your prized Ric is not the guitar you want to experiment with. Try a $300 Squier Strat instead! I've had a lot of buzzes and rattles on my 360/12 over the year that I've owned it, and most of them required a qualified tech to resolve. Kudos to Sascha and the others here who have the balls to do their own setups, but I prefer to concentrate on my music and let my techs deal with the headaches.

Well, maybe I am crazy, I like to do corrective maintenances with engines and a lot of other stuff.
But also I can understand the more careful persons, too.

The question was about what it could be and how it could be solved. For that I just gave my two cents. - I will never people tell what they "have" to do!
BTW this is a huge benefit of the RRF: You can go step by step into the complete Rickenbacker thing with a lot of support all the time. Actually I am doing things I would not have done a few years before (surely not!), e.g. neck adjustment.

Yes, if someone isn't comfortable with a tweak or two, then find a good friend or tech who is. But string rattles aren't usually a big thing on a new guitar. A careful bridge adjustment may do the trick. Anyway, I agree with Sacha that I'd like to hear whatever causes it and the fix so I can add to my pool of knowledge.
