Check this band out

Post by bartyclue »

So this is Big Wreck. A Canadian/American hybrid band that had a hit record back in the day and then reformed recently to make "Albatross", their latest album. I know this wont be everyones cup of tea, but this album absolutely kills. Every track IMHO is great. This has gone into my "desert island disc" collection.

Wonderful!

Lots of cool elements in that tune, loved the slide guitar. Best thing I've heard in quite a while. Thanks! :D

Here's a really great one, with some excellent Zep influence.

+1!

I was a fan of the early stuff, but this album is a step up. I picked this up when I first heard the title track, and the whole disc turned out to be amazing. With this record and the Sheepdogs discs, there is new stuff to be heard that is worth hearing.
