Ted, that's the darkest autimnglo I've ever seen! What year is it? My '81 is much, much lighter around the edges, and the transition is a lot smoother, too. It looks almost exactly like the new Monty brown.

Mine is an '80. A friend of mine has a '79 that is as dark as mine but nearly to the center of the body. Mine looks light compared with his.

I think it is sorted out now. If the finish is glossy it is walnut. If it is matte it is autumnglo. The pigments are reported to be identical. Of course, this excludes the original 1950's autumnglo.
