suitable replacement for "Round Ground" strings?!?!?!

I have an ENR71 set on my G&L JB-2, and used to use them on my former mid '70s 4001 during the late '70s, along with using the 5 string version on the two fretless ZONs I used to have.

I may switch to those once I go back to playing at concert pitch (Mr. DiNizio tunes to E flat).

Funny, at band practice tonight I asked Brian (lead guitar, concert pitch) if he could show me a 1st position open E♭chord, apparently he wasn't up to the challenge!

I also neglected to mention Circle K strings. I have a set on my Laredo,and they have all the RW grind you could ask for in a very smooth feeling flexible string. I ended up putting the Marcus Miller DR's on my 4000,a combination that is fatally grindy and bright.( loving it,too!) And the maxima flatwounds from the 4000 went on the cii,which seems to be a great match......( but i digress..... )

I have been using SIT Powerflats for quite some time and I like them the best of all I've tried. They are pure nickel wrap, have the best tension (not as stiff as rotosound, not as loose as Thomastic), and are a great price to boot.
