Working all weekend and prepping the house exterior for final log refinishing next month so I'm "here", just a bit distracted.

I'm here. Recuperating from a nasty case of the flu and upper respiratory infection I caught over a week ago; if I haven't been at work, or rehearsal, or Saturday night's gig, I've been in bed. Joey and Diane came out for my gig with Smiling face down on Saturday. There were some photos taken, so if I get any, I'll repost; my shutterbug girlfriend was not in attendance, so I don't have any photos handy. I did manage to attend a barbecue with my girl yesterday and was wiped out. Didn't do much today except but the flag up at half-staff this morning, which I'll dip and raise to full staff at noon.
There is no reason to ever be bored.

...why yes, I suppose I do have a double bound guitar fetish...

"Uh, I like the double bounds. . . ."

I can not think of any greater sacrifice that any one whom has served
made and still makes to this day .

I wondered when or if that would show up!

I've been taking a cyber break this week end. Saturday night, played drums at a so-called "blues jam" which was really a classic rock-with a-few-blues-songs-thrown-in jam at the Academy. First time I've played drums in public.

Sunday sent the missus off to visit her folks. I stayed home and wrote a song, and watched a lot of TV. Today I finished up the song, cooked supper, and did the laundry. And the missus came home in time for supper.

I did all this except mow the lawn, I was afraid of suffering a coronary from all the thrills if I went too far.

Oh wait, I also spent some time talking to my cat Jack. He's a good listener. He commented that he'd like the back window open.

I dunno, maybe I need a life

Morgan there is always the riverbank. :)
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm
