Ruby 4003 sighting WI

Post by JWR »

One of my all time favorite stops is Dave's Guitar Shop in La Crosse WI. I got my 2012 4003 MG there in April and at the time they had a pretty nice FG 4003 that appears to have found a new home recently. Now they have a Ruby in stock. All the chatter about backlog and these fine instruments appear abundant in the land of the Cheeseheads...

That Ruby needs a black guard and TRC, imho.

+1 all black hardware would be my suggestion. Tuners, TP, TRC, pickguard, the whole "shootin match"!! Oh, and a 5 string while I'm at it!!

I figure if I keep throwin hints someone may just listen to me!

Dark red finish, white binding, black pickguard, pearl inlays and shiny chrome - that's a Gibsonish color scheme, that I like a lot.
