Videos to be made this weekend after it arrives.
Re: LOTS OF PROJECTS NEARING COMPLETION...
Looking forward to this, very cool bass, guys!kennyhowes wrote:Videos to be made this weekend after it arrives.
I can get rid of my guitarists!
An 8 stringer would work better for me, though.
Re: LOTS OF PROJECTS NEARING COMPLETION...
This looks great, Paul. Kenny, kudos on the idea and getting it done. Looking forward to the video to hear this one.

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Nice work Curmudge.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Hey Kenny, I have a really nice Carlo Robelli 12'er, wanna trade?!

JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS!
Re: LOTS OF PROJECTS NEARING COMPLETION...
That is wild! Looks like a finger ripper to me, but I am a skinny string guy. It must sound like Thor's Hammer through the right amp/speakers though!
Wicked job Paul, and congrats Kenny!

Actually, I would need an eight string to round things out...

Is that my old 2030 body? If so, it never looked better.
Re: LOTS OF PROJECTS NEARING COMPLETION...

Re: LOTS OF PROJECTS NEARING COMPLETION...
This is VERY cool! I know you've been wanting a RIC 12ver bass for some time so as Joey would say..."Congrats and enjoy da bass!". As a side note, the shorter scale should alleviate some of the string tension. If it's set up properly with low action, it shouldn't be too hard to fret.
