What do you think? Is white or gold a better look?

That's a beauty Ron.

I put gold plastic on a Burgundy 340/12 I had and it looked great but with the white bindings on a 360 model, I like the white guards/TRC better. I once had a Burgundy 660/12 and I changed the gold plastic to white for for the same reason.

The Burgandy 360 (a 2003 model) is a new acquisition. It's quickly becoming my favorite RICK color. It was a great choice for COY. My wife and son like the white plastic.
That's a good point about the white binding and white plastic looking great together.

I agree, keep the guards white.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Show us one with Gold and I'll be able to choose better!......My first instinct though is to stay with the white.

Why does it have to be one or the other?
You (I hope) change your shirt every day, why not chnage the color of the plastic every once in a while?

Go for the gold, play it for a year or two, then switch to white (a side benefit will be you will think you have a brand new guitar!).

I now have gold on my 330. But in a few months I will switch back to white.

Gold looks great with a 330, but white looks better with a 360 because of the binding.
If there isn't a 12 string Rickenbacker playing at my funeral, I'm leaving.
