Thanks,Chef.
I guess i glossed over that....so the difference in the c series tuners is that they are nickle? Is that all? Or are they the reverse winding variety, too? I just replaced my old (nickle reverse non slotted peg) keys from my 74 4000 with chrome hipshots, but these probably would have worked. The shafts on the hipshots were slightly longer, and the cloverleaf shape was slightly different, but those details didn't especially bother me,especially since i got the hipshot keys used for a very reasonalble price. (thanks again,Joshua!)
Ps i am considering selling the old keys, but would like to get an idea of their value,if anyone happens to know.....

There's a set of nickel non slots on the bay for @ $280.
They've been up for a couple of months.
Given that the C series ones are pretty spot on and $160 plus shipping,
you might have a competitive market....
Some body's still trying to get $600 for slots, but that's pretty out
there...

I did see the ebay listing, but personally thought that to be a "pie in the sky" price. I should probably shoot for about $150?
