THANKS SOOO MUCH for the info and the compliments everyone! :P

I am just thrilled to find this info out!! How cool to know that I have one of only 50 (or possibly 60) of these made!!! :P It's nice to see how much they are worth too, but I don't plan to sell it. I've held onto it all these years and will have it til I'm gone!

I will look into the scratch out kit stuff and get 'er fixed up! I wish I woulda kept her in better condition (after looking at some of the others that are registered  ). I was only 14 years old when I got her and played in an all girl Punk/New Wave band (Worthless Dizzies) with her for about 7 years. The neck is all scratched up from all the rings that I wore on my fingers! LOL Hopefully this kit will help out a lot.

Just so you know, I have come out of retirement (LOL) and HAVE been playing bass again with another all girl band. Just for fun right now, but I tell ya', it sure feels good to play again!! :D

I will post the pics of my other two Ricks sometime soon, as I'd like to go ahead and get them all registered on here. They are beauty's too, but one of them is a bit ragged out (missing some stuff) and I don't have info on either of them as well, so will need some help with that when I post them on here. I think one of them is pretty rare too, as I haven't seen any pics of it anywhere either. I wasn't good at keeping up on this stuff and didn't keep any paper work either. I also have a Fender P Bass and an acoustic/electric Washburn. Those are pretty awesome too, but you know... not AS awesome as my Ricks!! hehehe

THANKS AGAIN guys!

I see from your avatar that you're in Phoenix now, but I guess that you and your band were from Virginia Beach...I love it down there and one of my best friends lives there. Anyway, I look forward to seeing pictures of your other Rick basses. Don't apologize for all the fingerprints on your Shadow...that means you played it! :D

(Trying to keep my composure here...)

Welcome to the forum, Katherine!!

I can surely appreciate a nice Shadow and yours is a VERY nice example! I have one now and have owned a total of 5 since '03
and can honestly say (imo) they are my absolute favorite model of Ric bass. It's awesome to know that of the 50-60 made, the
majority of them are in our registry!

Post often and throw us a few bones(pics) once in a while please ....

It's not represented by one of these, is it?
