Thanks! I think Tokai used the same paisley self adhesive wallpaper as was used to make the original '68 Fender Paisley Red Telecaster(bottom photo)





From what I have read when Fender made the reissues in the 80s they didn't have much of the original wallpaper left so they sent the remnants to Japan were it was copied. I think something was lost in translation.Below is an '85 Fender Paisley Telecaster,my Tokai and some original Fender Paisleys.
