Assistance in locating my 4005

Post by jsm610 »

Was wondering if I could solicit any help in recovery of my '67 4005?

Pic here:

This is a '67 with a replaced fretboard. Should have a Rick case from a '70's era 4005, black and in great shape.

Thanks in advance for any assistance. Greatly appreciated.

Hi John!

What do you mean by "recovery"? Was it stolen? Or you had sold it away and just want to buy it back? Is this the one Ted was working on?

Not sold; I'm the owner.

Serial is GJ 4382. Sorry should have posted that in the first place...

Was this one that I'd swapped reverse keywinds for?

Yup. Thanks again for that!

Sadly, I'm not clear on who has it, hence the ask for assistance...

This is not sounding like a very happy story – here's hoping for a happy ending...and hey, that's one tough location, Rickenbro!

I still have no idea what this thread is about. Like you let someone "borrow" it and can't remember who?

IIRC, John, gave the person mentioned his 4005 to restore, I don't recall whether or not someone else also was going to do some work on it.

view your post history, and do a 4005 search within those posts. Read thru them and see if anything rings a bell.
