Back to Ric

Post by Chris P »

I used to have several Rics, but not at the same time. I had a bad '76 4001, two good '76 3000s, a '76 3001 and a '75 4005WB. All gone, but I had some GAS, sold some stuff and now I will play two big festivals and national radio in two weeks on a '73 checkerboard binding and toaster loaded 4001:)

Forum member Bert sold it to me and he's the guy who gave me GAS;) Always saying my band will sound better with a 4001..

Hey Chris!
Nice to see you here, and that's a fine looking bass. Not many of us Hiwatt players... I noticed your avatar though??? You still playing Hiwatt, along with that orange coloured thing?

Cheers

Thanks, guys!

The Orange is long gone and replaced by the DR201. I will change my avatar soon-ish.

It was a dirty job, but somebody had to do it. ;-) I even had to sacrifice one of my '73's....

Yeah, I have this great weekeind, within two weeks. On friday the 13th we play at a festival betweeen 10 and 11 PM. Than we leave for an hour's drive to national radio to play there in the night from 1 am to 4 am. Next morning we have to soundcheck at 11 am on another festival. We'll sleep later.

So I'm sure we'll have some pics afterwards.

I hope so! It's either some Ric-pics or some pics from a crashed band van;)
