In the spirit of fairness, since everyone's posting their Ric collections at Beatgearcavern: here's my meager pile....

Wow. Beyond impressive. That's enough to stir up envy in any bass player. I've only got one 4003 and one Hofner Contemporary. Your collection is so big that I'm sure you're a subject matter expert on the nuances and tonal differences in the Rickenbackers and Hofners.
Thanks for sharing your gang pix.

I always wanted to try an Alembic, but when i got my Cii,i really felt like i had something of a boutique bass, combined with that Ric feel and sound i love. I have played a few alembics in stores(really liked theEpic, and the Europa, too),but i keep going back to what i like best in the bass world. 8)
Now if i could just find one of the super-rare factory fretless 4000's.....or maybe wait for a fl 4004....i am finding i like playing fl more and more, and my modded Yamaha rbx250f is actually pretty decent sounding,but....

That is a sweet collection man! Glad to see that there are atleast some Ricks in NEPA. Represent man! I live the 18252 region.
I'm really digging the the V63 that thing is sick, based on the tugbar and the year, I'm gonna say that is the one I see on craigslist. I wish I could buy it.
My brother said that the 4001CS reminds him of the fender reverse proto.

I play them all out live 3-4 nights a week, every week. I'm the renegade who doesn't play Spectors, Laklands, Warwicks and what not. 8)

I used to want a Lakland, until they started making Fender clones. Then the desire ended quickly. I had a Spector once, the sound was way too sterile. Most Warwicks look like deformed tree trunks to me.

Nice collection! I'm particularly fond of the "dot neck" Ricks!

I also envy your Hofner collection!
