Good to see another 4004 here in Oz.
I too have a 2008 Cheyenne Mapleglow. Difference is mine has the Schaller bridge. Is your bridge an ABM, or something else?

I'm pretty green when it comes to Cheyennes. I've been told its a combi bridge from the factory.

That's an ABM bridge. These were used by the factory until sometime around 2008 when they switched to Schaller...

I finally tried her at rehearsal the other night.
Everything about it just seems to fit me to a tee.
Feel was very comfy and similar to my S5 I just sold.
I think the neck is a tad wider than my 4003.
RH thumb anchor on treble pup was perfect.
Humbuckers were in stealth mode, not a whisper.
I really was in awe of the HB tone.
Even my band mates who are used to the 4003, commented as it growled and cut through.
And she's a purdy lil thang too!
One surprised happy camper here.

Happy for you, it went to a good home.I looked at that bass three times a day till it sold, wasn't in the finances this time. Patience, Patience.
