Every semester I show Standing in the Shadows of Motown to my high school film study students. When they first hear that they will be watching a documentary, they groan and complain, crying for another Spielburg. Then when we start listening to some of the music, they perk up. Actually watching these guys, including Babbitt tell their story is something else. Babbitt was really showcased in that film when he's introduced. If you've never seen the film, do so. I'm glad that he was able to reclaim some of his musical legacy over the past ten or so years.
