Sorry if this has been asked before, but do all toasters, guitar and Bass, have 6 pole pieces?
If so, I've been done with a fake 73. It as 4 poles out the bottom with one large magnet across all. Measures 7.3 ohm.

The bass and guitar toasters are functionally identical (mounting holes are the one difference) and have six pole pieces, each of which is a magnet. The item you describe is either a copy or a Rickenbacker Higain pickup modified to take a toaster cover. and the faker ones usually have a hard ceramic magnet of twice the size of a rick higain neck rubber mag.
