You won't find them at any shop, only on line. I use the .106 .079 .059 .043 set. They are the only strings I'd think of using on my Rickenbackers. Bright, you betcha!

COOL! That is as close as I have ever come to a 4004. So cool to hear one....man that is a cool looking bass.

UPDATE:

After one month of the Cobalts on my JG 4003...I must say that I really do not like these strings on my Ric. Once the zing wears off... they sound middy and honky....no warmth and the tension is way too much for my liking. My MG has two year old factory strings on it and I love the feal of those strings....wish I knew what they were so I could get some new ones.

Found em! Just had to figure out what Boutique meant on the main page :wink:
