True, but don't kick yourself to hard. Stick with this thread. If it crashes and no one else responds, we'll just have to beat it out of them.

Jason you are certainly not the new kid on the block. Thanks for showing us how you roll. Timing is everything.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Drums and percussion are my first real love. I am fortunate enough to have a big set as well as quite a bit of percussion. All the instruments I try to play bring a smile to my face but playing drums leaves me with the biggest grin.

I can play, I wouldn't call myself a drummer but I can keep a steady beat for an hour or two.

I've played drums for the last 10 years or so, I'm the drummer in my band. 60s Slingerlands, 70s Ludwig Vistalite snare, 70s Zildjians. Vintage basses, vintage drums, vintage everything...

Played bass for about 25 years, so obviously that came first!

Wordsmith!
I am quite upbeat when it comes to the topic of drumming. As a cymbol of my appreciation I would like to say that this blog about drumming on a guitar site is great. In the rudiments of daily life, I often find myself tapping a beat (with no drum set)along to a good song. So I want to make a "stand" for drumming.

I hope that wasn't too not profound.
