I have Rickenbacker 360/12C63 on sale, but I think to get it back from the store, because no one has interest - I have started to regret the sale.
Now I have searched that model from the internet and found something odd. There is no 12C63 anywhere... no eBay, no european stores and no US stores. I have tried to find with Google also, but I haven't found any. What has happened? Few weeks back, there were several for sale in eBay. Is it discontinued or why I cannot find any 12C63? Or is this the way to keep the guitar rare (not push too many to the market)?

Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Re: What has happened?
I think they're just extremely popular and they're gone as soon as they come in at least that's the case with my favorite store, International Vintage Guitars. They have sold three within a total of the seven years they've been produced, and they haven't even lasted in the store a day. There are a few members here who own the model, and love it. It's a great guitar, probably my favorite Ric currently being produced.
And if you're Ric isn't selling? You should hang onto it. Yours is rather stunning, Petri.

Thank you. You are right, Jake. It's stunning, that's one reason why I have started to think to get it back home. One is because I found out, that there are songs where 12-string Rickenbacker "jangle sound" just fits. And there aren't any other guitar, that can bring this "jangle" sound.JakeK wrote:And if you're Ric isn't selling? You should hang onto it. Yours is rather stunning, Petri.

Yes, bring it home!! I've said it before, and I'll say it again, no other 12-string comes close to a Rickenbacker. A Ric just has the vibe and tone needed to get the bright jangle and more. They just have a big beautiful ringing sound that no other electric 12 can do.
