Looks like Desert Gold which was RIC's "Color of the Year" for 2001.

That's a lovely colour...almost like a deep rich mapleglo. I wish Ric had made this a standard color instead of the dark and imo dull burgundy.

According to the owner it is a 1990 issue.

It is heavily greened/yellowed Silver with white trim.

I have communicated with the seller and the serial number would confirm it is a 1990 model. I have checked RIC color charts as well as every other source that I can think of and I can find nothing to suggest that silver was an available finish in 1990. It could be a special order or a 'one of' but who knows. I have also looked at every 'silver' finished guitar in the RRF registry and I see none that look quite like this. I am familiar with the 'greening' process which takes place with some blue, gold or copper finishes, but to have a silver finish change to this appears to be somewhat extreme. I am leaning towards it being a refinish or some custom color that Rickenbacker used for this particular order.
