"... not a real neck diver, definitely better than a semihollow EB-2"
Dave, when I bought my EB2C I preferred it over a vintage Guild Starfire I that was in a nearby store for about the same price ($1K), because it balanced perfectly on a strap, unlike the Starfire. It wasn't a lightweight bass, with the massive center block, certainly heavier than the Starfire. When played sitting down, the neck would even go up like a Les Paul's. Standing up, the balance was better than a Fender P or a Ric. It also looked killer. If only it sounded good... sold to a collector, at least I know it went to a good home.

"A Noble Instrument Must Be Nobly Regarded"
I know what you mean Ilan. I love the way my '60 EBO looks, and it even plays well too - as I said before I'm not a fan of the short scale nor the way it sounds (more Rics please!). And back when I was playing it I always had to coordinate axes with the guitar player in case he was bringing his LP JR because I don't like the guitar/bass matching axes thang. I'm happy keeping it around as part of the collection but it'd be gone in a second for the right Ric!
