I've been too busy playing my newest Rick to remove the sticker, but I have no doubt the sticker will be worn to a shredded smudge quite soon.
There is no reason to ever be bored.
...why yes, I suppose I do have a double bound guitar fetish...

Well, some of us don't have the Willie Nelson strumming style ...Grey wrote:The sticker is placed right below the picking area, i'm not sure how you could keep it intact even if you wanted to unless you never play the guitar.

My "USA" sticker (in the "old" position) began to wander a bit each time I cleaned the pickguard. As it did, I would slide it back to the correct spot, but eventually, the glue just stopped holding and the corners of the sticker began to turn up.. So now I have a pristine white pickguard.
The sticker? It now resides with the rest of the case candy, on the cover of the booklet.
btw- being a Canuck, I thought for a bit about putting a small maple leaf (red & white) in it's place, but decided against it as it would likely start to wander around as well..

So all of us rectangle-sticker guys can now be justifiably proud of the vintage of our guitars? Ha, those oval sticker guys have those shoddy, new instruments. Things just haven't been the same since the departure of the rectangles. Of course, what I really want is a round-sticker Rick! MMMMmmmmm......
I peeled the sticker off of my new 360 the day it arrived at my house. Choosing between two possible pieces of advice on this forum (or maybe the corporate one), I chose not to place it behind the TRC, but instead put it on a piece of wax paper and put it in my case with the other case candy. Even then, I felt ridiculous doing so. I mean really, who *cares* about the sticker? Yet, there I was, preserving it, purportedly for future value of my guitar (not sure if that's resale value or collectible value).
