Monogram Guitars in Japan

Post by Wurlitzer »

Can someone please tell me what are these things ? Is this a guitar or a toy ? Look for the rickenbacker looking ones.

They're $200-400 Chinese guitars. Not toys.

Clear trademark violation.
There is no reason to ever be bored.

...why yes, I suppose I do have a double bound guitar fetish...

Too funny ... the brand name is Monogram, so why is there is an "R" on the tailpiece if not an attempt to copy ...

Last minute name change, as Rockinbetter was already taken.

I believe the R stands for "Report these to RIC Legal Department"

so these are o.k. they are not Rickenbacker copies, they are clearly Rockinbetter knock-offs. no harm done then

In the end what this says to me is RIC NEEDS to make the 4000 and in silver  because even with the cheap horridness that bass is hot.

They look like those tiny plastic toys or even lapel pins. Some say made in Japan on their description... I hate getting ripped off, John hall must be fuming. I feel sorry for the guy who can't afford a real rickenbacker but it seems to me that over the years he is the guy that took the rap for these types of guitars.
