Very nice looking bass, and I'm not usually a fan of BT.

Now, more importantly, get practicing!

WOW Oh WOW!!!!!! Sweet looking bass there....Gareth.
LOVE that color!!!!!!!!

I have a fretless by another co. which will remain nameless. After many years of playing fretted, going fretless IS a challenge!!!!!!!
But, it isn't impossible.

Good luck Gareth

Chrome hardware and black plastic is a winning combination. That aqua-burst is way nicer than BBR (imho! ymmv!).

With a fretless bass you have to look at the position markers from time to time. I have a blank plank P bass and find it almost impossible to play with good intonation without looking at the dots when doing long shifts. I also play upright and get decent intonation without looking at all, but an upright has block position at about 7-8th fret (depending on the bass), and thumb position, and you practice shifting positions, and in my experience muscle memory is easier against gravity so upright is in general easier than fretless vertical 34" scale bass. Hey, Jaco looked, so can the rest of us. No need for fret markers - the Ric dots are sufficient.

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...
