4004 Base Case

Due to a situation, (which I do not wish to elaborate on), I am looking to get a new case for a 4004L bass. The question I have is does anyone know how well the vintage reissue case fits this model or should I just stick with the standard case ?

Brian, its a perfect fit. I have a vintage case for my Trans Red Cii

any 4000, 4001, 4002, 4003, 4004 case will fit ...

BUT...they are HEAVY when added to the weight of the bass. I prefer the SKB style cases and wil be replacing all of my 3000 bass cases with them whrn I find one that fits.
