Well, we're getting far afield from my original question of the use of a Rickenbacker BASS in country/western. Wonder if there are/were any others.

Paul, that is because in country they do use wooden log huts, but they're simply not swiss ski lodges! :wink:

If I think country and electric instruments somehow only bands with Fenders come to mind!

Good catch! Hard to catch because the shots are just close-ups and go by so fast.

Looks like a 600 series, but don't know my models. It sounds wonderful in that song.

Paul, what about the Blue Boy bass that was used in Jim Reeves' band?
