Cave Passive Pedal "RFF Tour" begins!

Post by weemac »

Well the little Grunt pedal is on it's way to qwezirider!

The tour is going to work something like this:

Once you recieve the pedal, test it out for a few days and if you happen to have a gig that you can test it on all the better!
Once you have had enough of it contact me for the next address to send it to..
If you like when you box it up again, drop a little souviner from your town and the pedal will a-mass a sort of travel log.
Feel free to take a picture of it at your home or somewhere in your town (even somewhere silly is fine) and post it here!

Now so far I only have three addresses from folks so please PM me with an address the pedal can be sent too so I can work out a itinerary and keep it going smooth..

The pedal has landed! Just got it out of the box and will put it through some paces tomorrow.

Thank you, Eden, for making all this happen.

Again, a big thank you to Eden for allowing us to toss this thing around the world and try it out. It's on its way now to Joey.

I like it! I don't often use over drive and when I do, I usually do it the hard way - splitting off to a guitar amp for mixing that into my sound. As Eden described in his video, it does a nice job of adding a touch of over drive.

Where I liked it the most was how much it boosted my passive signal. I used it with Fralin pickups on a Pensa bass, active shut off. The level knob brought my sound back up into the active pickup type range, adding a nice oomph.

I think it would be a good addition to the arsenal for that added kick to my sound on occasion.

Looking forward to giving it a try.
Bruce, that sounds like something the Dos Equis man would say at the end of the commercial!

Unfortunately no. It arrived where I work today, but I took the day off. Too much to do to get ready for tomorrow's jam and a gig with Dirty Bison on Sunday.

That certainly is unfortunate. :( What a missed opportunity.
