A 650 favor to ask.....

Post by fluffy »

If anyone has done a coil tap mod to theirs , could you please post a sound clip. I've been thinking of having this done to my 650C but would like an idea of what I'm in for tone wise. Thank you in advance, oh and please say whether it is the Push/pull mod or the one that splits via the tone knob circuit. I'll bug you for the schematic if I like what i hear

ahaaa... I may need to look into this... Rich, thank you for the link, I'd missed that as I don't spend much time in the Vibrola threads :D

If you want to know what this sounds like on your guitar, then pull the two wires that are under the heat shrink out of your HB1's lead wire and ground them to the circuitry in your wiring harness. That way, you don't have to do the full on mod your electronics yet.
