Ah yes I like my Jetglo too, but just got my Fireglo on Monday. It is absolutely gorgeous. I see what you mean about pictures don't do it justice. It's looks way better than I anticipated.

Indeed! My FG and my JG are my regular gig Rics now. Here is my JG from last nights gig with the new (to me) Ampeg rig! Rickenbacker, Rotosounds and Ampeg.....I may be very close to tone Nirvana.

No you don't. A Rick strap on the bass would cut hard on the shoulder after half a set.

I used to own exactly the same cab (BSE410HLF), an SVT 5 (ok not exactly the same as yours hehe) and a 2011 JG Ric. One hell of a sound! Great set up fella.

And John is so right here, I have genuine Ric straps for both my basses but cant use them due to this... Had to invest in a comfort strap instead!

Hey, persevere with those Rick straps! I think I know what you're referring to, having experienced what sounds like the same thing after buying a tan Rick strap for my MapleGlo 4001V63 and a black one for my FireGlo, but it only took a few hours' use with each, and they "broke in" and became very comfortable. I now find them wonderful straps for both my basses. My only concern is with the potential for dings from the metal length-adjuster on the tail of the strap, but basically I'm very happy with them.
