String-Spacing Confusion

That's fine, but it would seem to be as simple as "before buying a Rickenbacker twelve, it's a good idea to try playing it and see how you like the string spacing. If you already own one, or you buy one anyway and wind up not liking the spacing, change it." It's really not that difficult for any decent luthier to do if you're not comfortable doing it yourself.
