Well, it appears to be a late '73 or '74 4001FL which would have a solid bubinga fingerboard (not really a "fretboard" now, is it?). I'm dating it as such due to the half-inch position of the Toaster and what appears to be white-strip-only binding.

I wrote a message to the Beatle Photo Blog person to ask for the source of the photo, but have not heard back. I'd sure like to use it in the book.
