It's okay, Eden! Just the way live music is these days; all bands are feeling it. Maybe the tide will turn and people will enjoy going out to see live music again. It's just up to musicians to use their creativity to think of new ways to continue to play music!

Everyone needs a Mesa rig!!

We just put out a new album called "Garden of Whatever;" that's what we've been touring to support. I would imagine we'll still keep writing songs, since we have a place to play here on the farm. We did sell off much of our recording equipment to cover the CD manufacturing, but we can get it back little by little. Lots of brainstorming in the Clatter camp these days!

Thanks, George!! That's so sweet of you to say!! I'm sure we'll keep going as long as we can; I think that's the thing about being a musician, it's almost an obsession that's really hard to just walk away from!

Hi amy, i know how passionate you are about your bass playing, and i am sure you could not walk away from it, i know who you are influenced by, the same person as me , but what you have done has taken that influence and turned it into your own style which in turn has influenced me !!! when i seen what you were doing with the Rickenbacker it made me think in a different way about my own playing, there is so much a bass can do!! as you have proven. i hope you and joe continue to release songs somehow. take care George xx

Hi Amy, unfortunately, I never got to see Clatter live, but have been enjoying your music for a couple of years now. I love your Youtube videos and interviews. I just wanted to wish you good luck and thanks for inspiring all of us with your style and tone. Thanks to the internet we will continue to follow you both in your future musical endeavors. Oh, thanks so much, John and George! You know, we wouldn't have made it this far without the incredible support of all the lovely bass players in the world. When we first decided to record an album as a two piece, we thought we were probably crazy and that no one would like our music. But we persisted just because we enjoyed the sound we were creating. We were overwhelmed by how enthusiastically the bass community embraced what we were doing and gave us the courage to go on.

Bass players as a whole are the most kind, generous group of people I've ever met, and it's been such an honor to meet so many of you along the way, either online or in real life. The inspiration definitely works both ways!! You all inspire me to continue playing my crazy style of bass, which is monumental, because I didn't play for years, thinking I didn't play "correctly." Now we can go to schools like the one in Jasper, Indiana that Bob invited us to and I can tell kids it's okay to make your own rules in music and do your own thing, as long as it makes you happy. I wouldn't have had the nerve to say such things had it not been for the support I've gotten over the years from all the bass players who said my style of playing was okay.

So thank YOU GUYS for all you've done for us, and for me and my bass playing in particular!!!

Fantastic amy!!!! you know this band stuff never ends, i formed a group way back in 1979!! called Quasar, we did Rush covers and our own material, we played for a couple of years together then went our separate ways. i have just recently got back in touch with the guitarist in the band again after 30 years of being out of touch, we have started recording together again, you just never know what will happen in music, i never thought we would be in touch again and here we are making some of the best tracks we have ever done . right now!!! so hopefully clatter will go forth when the time is right. George x
