As I ponder the Cheyenne
Moderators: rickenbrother, ajish4
In many ways, the Cheyenne is the best bass Rickenbacker ever made. It is lightweight and very clean in appearance, the controls are rear loaded, the body is contoured and VERY easy to play. There are no deep routes in the neck slab. The bridge is fully adjustable and solidly made. I love my 4004C more every time I play it.
i plugged it in today....all i can say is....WHOA....talk about growl...I am going to use it in California...it should pound....especially through an 8x10 and a sansamp rack unit ..I am going to get pictures from the show and you can see the bass in action...It even slaps well...

"calcium does not cause kidney stones!!!"
"Increased rates of either oxalate absorption or endogenous oxalate synthesis can contribute to hyperoxaluria, a primary risk factor for the formation of calcium oxalate-containing kidney stones.
The finding that ascorbate supplementation increased urinary total and endogenous oxalate levels suggested that this practice is a risk factor for individuals predisposed to kidney stones. Am J Kidney Dis. 2004 Dec;44(6):1060-9"

"Diet plays an important role in the pathogenesis of calcium-containing kidney stones. Although much work has demonstrated that specific dietary components alter urinary composition and supersaturation, relatively few studies link the ingestion of these components with actual nephrolithiasis. This article reviews the dietary factors thought to promote or inhibit the formation of calcium stones and discusses the current controversies in the field of nutrition and nephrolithiasis. Special attention is paid to the roles of dietary calcium, supplemental calcium, oxalate, phytate, and n-3 fatty acids. We offer dietary recommendations to individuals who have suffered from a calcium-containing kidney stone, and emphasize that a patient's 24-hour urine chemistries should be used to help guide dietary intervention".
