Resurrecting this old thread to see if there have been any updates/new info on getting the AZ shade correct. Anybody have the mix codes available? I'm trying to order the paint (PPG?) for a project I'm working on.

Your absolutely right about the perceived match Paul, as this overlay shows(thanks jpeg wiz). That's why people like you paint guitars for people like me.

If there's something with colours that is bound to provide false perception it's pasting a bit of one (scanned?) image over a photo

That blue colour on the double-bound looks awesome though!
