Interesting seeing you playing both basses at these gigs, Joey. What's the appeal to each bass for the selected material? Or is one just a backup for the other and you go with whatever grabs you...

I just go with which ever one grabs me. I lean a little more towards the Jetglo 4001 for this project, but they both get used.walker wrote:Interesting seeing you playing both basses at these gigs, Joey. Okay, what's hanging around your neck, Mark?

Looks like a TASCAM recorder.

That's my Vox AC-100!
It's a KORG 'Pandora's Box' with a bunch of Amp sims and other FX & various goodies. It clips right on to the guitar strap. Pretty handy for little shows when you're plugging straight into the board.

Great tone on that 4002, Joseph. I'll bet 4002 #2 would sound great tuned down to B-E-A-D for some tight punchy subs.
Re: Post of picture of you PLAYING your ric
4002 is really a funny beast. I wish I had one. Yes great tone.

Perhaps I should have mentioned that I'm running the 4002 through my Punch Factory but I don't have is set on any crazy compression. The 4002 really comes alive through my all tube AD200b!! The Orange head has a pretty straight forward and clean sound well, depending where I set the gain.
I can get it quite dirty but with the 4002, I really don't have to.
