My first Rickenbacker

Post by Wurlitzer »

In 1981 I traded a fender amp for my first rickenbacker it was a 3/4 scale and it was deep burgundy color...I would love to find it again, Anyone ? What model was it ? It said rickenbacker on it and I think had one pup. Any pictures of the same model ?

It was a guitar that looked like this one?

Or a bass that looked like this one?

This should narrow down the model number at least! :?: :?:

The color was darker like eggplant. I think it was a tulip model...

Burgundy came in a few shades... More likely to be very dark in the early 70s.

So it looked like this guitar but with only one pick up?

That would have made it a model 900 like this one.

Did it have a toaster or a high gain pick up?
