And now for something dark and suited to a cremation ghat...

Last year, in addition to working on his entire menagerie of Rick basses, I redid Al Cisneros' 4003S5 in Mapleglo with a black neck and headstock. It has pride of place in Om's newest video, "State of Non-Return". This song (and the entire album) is AMAZING. Al has woken up from Sleep's stoner doom metal of the '90s and embraced an incredibly ancient-yet-new sonic landscape. A mature and consistent talent.



Also on my headphones lately, the Bay area's Neurosis' "Honor In Decay"

Well, Peterbilt doesn't make engines, mine had a Caterpillar engine...
