Congrats, very nice Brian.

Is the fretboard gloss coated or sealed/oiled? The other registry entries you linked to look like they are not gloss. Sealed fretboards look darker than clearcoated. Nice bass.

Congrats,that is One VERY cool bass!
In some of the pics,the jetglo looks like a deep green,which would be due to the clearcoat yellowing. My first RIc was a few years older vintage,and had that look to it.

I was ready to buy but work commitments did not permit to go meet with the seller before Monday !!!!! Congratulations !

Yes, it was me !!! I was about 1h15 minutes or so. I had planned to go today and could simply not attend before ! Enjoy the bass !!

Awesome bass !!!!!! I like those yet, they look naked without the neck p up. Yet still ominous too :twisted: ..... sense of mystery. Congrats!!

Nice score Brian. The fretboard looks like bubinga, but there is wear that makes it look darker. Means it was played, which indicates it is a great bass.

Yes indeed!

I was playing it today - it sounds lovely!

The fret board is glossy although the wood is darker then the reddish orange I am used to..

The neck needs adjustment though - and the Rotosounds that are on it need to go.

I want some kind of lower tension flats to go on it... Since it is set neck I am nervous about too much string tension.

Any thoughts as to a good set to get?
