If you think all is going well, you've obviously overlooked something.

I like the wood grain and color. I'm not much of a fretless fan and I think it is priced a little on the high side but looks to be in good condition so I guess it is up to if it is worth it for you or not.

This is the second time around for this one. It opened at $1200 on the last go and did not garner a single bid. This starting bid is closer to the mark but probably still a bit high. The bass looks nice in the pics and would probably be a good score.

Looks nice to me too, but you can get a new one cheaper. It is kind of rare though, I've never seen an early 80's 4003FL, I've seen early 80's 4001FL's, but not these. It would have lower impedance pickups and the cap in it also than a new one, also a little thinner neck probably.

It looks very nice, though I'd rather spend that amount of money on a new one. I really don't case for the early 4003 basses either.

Music123.com just quoted me a price of $986 for a new one.

I got mine at Bass NW for $799.00 used but it was only used because somebody bought it and then returned it to get something else. For all intents it was brand new even with the unfilled out warranty card.
