but I wonder...
was it better to leave it rough?
it would have had much more character!
Bird's eye figure in maple, I think there is nothing more beautiful.

Huh, I never thought of leaving it rough. It would be interesting, but I really think it deserves a proper finish.

Super restoration for sure... Tony, where did all those parts come from to make it period correct? :wink:
Are the headstock wings maple?
