Duesenberg use their Domino single coil in neck, with their humbucker in bridge position one several models. The Domino is more like a P-100 on steroids so it's not really mismatched with the humbucker. However, a Gibson P-90 together with a Gibson humbucker might be a weird match and I do wonder what the thought behind this combo is!

Jeff, if you're at it, spray some inlays on that fingerboard, will you?

I thought maybe I'd use those popular stick-on inlays, what an oxymoron that is!

Nooo, I love them! I just don't like the look of having two different types of pickups on most guitars. But when something is as outlandishly awesome as that, how could I say no?

Werner, hilarious! :)
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

I saw one on line, gave it few days and now they're really starting to grow on me, I'd play one. I dig it, but then again I'm the guy that wants a silver sparkle 425

Maybe the folks over at Gibson thought it was their turn to steal a design from Electra for a change

Ummm ... perhaps this sounds odd, but I'm actually keeping my eyes open for the three p'up version of this Teisco guitar. If you know of one available in decent condition & at a reasonable price, please PM me.

Thanks

psssst... just between you & me I'm a sucker for those Teiscos too ......
Strange dichotomy actually, how one can love American top quality AND gaudy Japanese quirkiness

There's a certain appeal behind the utter disregard for conventional design aesthetics exhibited by those strange old Japanese guitars. Crazy pickup configurations, tremolo units, knobs switches and dials everywhere.
