Interesting, that one has the extra spacer baseplate under the bridge, as did Joey's Ruby 4004Cii.

Yup, remove the plate. I did that on my 4004C.

Picked it up from the customs office yesterday.
The bass is in terrific shape.
The Fireglo looks even better in person compared to the photos on ebay.
The neck feels really good to me, although it IS wide (44mm at the nut).
Can't wait to take it to the next rehearsals where my amp is.
