New (old) Bass Day!

Post by Lefty4001 »

Same story that you keep hearing. I was happy to see RIC turning out new left handed instruments and started collecting quotes. Then I found this and my story changed. It's a March 1993, just arrived today and I'm still checking it out. The wiring harness volume/tone knobs work opposite of my '74 4001, so one of them must have a RH harness. The frets seems fresh, but kinda rough along the edges. I thought maybe a refret, but the 4003S/8 in the Register from the same month has the same look to them. Everything else seems right so far. I'll dig up some information from the Forum on this time frame, but I've got a big grin going.

I'll put more pictures up when I can.
