Modifying long pole toaster
Hi,
It is very hard to get the original 325c58 toasters, so i got a lon pole toaster, but do not want to route my guitar!
Which is the best way to cut the poles, which tool is best to use(dremel?).
are they of a very hard material or tend to split!
Thanks for any help!
Peter

I think it would be a whole lot easier to get the right length magnets.

+1, Apart from the fact they are harder than the dremel tool, any heat generated cutting will kill the magnet.

Stupid question - apart from very carefully, how do you get them out?

Not so stupid. Take pliars and wiggle them out.godber wrote:Stupid question - apart from very carefully, how do you get them out?

Yup. And if you can't find pliars, pliers will work, too!

Hello folks,
Maybe i can get an original 325C58 Pickup and don´t have to modify the 7.5k Toaster. If so, i have this Toaster for sale !!
