Alrighty then, the Cheyenne is going for round two tomorrow night in Tennessee. It just came back from a fret level and dress. It is 'narly now!!! The 1/2 step down in tuning makes it sound thick and ominous...Dr Rath, if I roll off the front pickup ever so slightly, it gives me enough bark and growl to scare the postman. Found a couple of strange things with the wood but that is to be expected with the replacement fingerboard. THIS time the 4003 is going to be the backup bass.. I am going to put this on first and we will see what happens. More later....

It was another SMASHING gig on friday night with the Cheyenne. It is definitely a keeper. I was rockin and knocking myself over at the same time. I have an Illinois gig this weekend...Hmmm, which bass should I play? The Union Jack bass is supposed to be done in a week or two depending on drying and buffing time....
