new Rick-owner

Post by dirkenno »

Hi .
My Name is Dirk and i´m coming from Düsseldorf. This lays in good old Germany. And i´m an owner of an Rickenbacker 4001 in Jetglo built dec.75.The only modifiction I made was a little switch under the bridge PU to switch the cap off. I got a picture from it with a little from my stuff in the back.Have fun with that.

Welcome!

Nice bass.

The pickguard, by the way, is post-June '77.

Dec '75 still has the knobs laid out in a parallelogram. 76 have a "shallow" parallelogram. Mid 77 thru the double-hump pickguards of '97 is the same shape as yours.

Thx very much of this very warm welcome! The first thing i made was to register the bass here.(OL 8097). I bought it about a couple of month ago for about 1250 Euro.I really love the sound from this bass. After building in the switch in and using a little compression this baby got the growl with much punch in the tone. And i don´t have to tell anybody here abut the playability about these ricks.I real love these small necks..... thx for the info about the pickguard...!

You like Pictures....Ok...More basses....
