Re: new Rick-owner
I have to say that the orange OR 120 from the 70´s is my favourite amp. I really like the tone of this monster. But i don´t like to carry it for a longer distance...
.And if i play the Selmer Stack with my 70´s Les Paul.....The Tone is Heaven on Earth! There is only one Speaker in this Box...Changed to an 60´s Celestion 18".But my Green Back Marshall box got no Chance in Fight with this little Baby....
I don´t know what you mean with how long does it to take all these basses...i´m playing for over 20 Years now.And my father played also in a German "Tanzkapelle". And the Selmer Stack was this Thing that the Bass Player and the Guitars played over for many Gigs. Its build in 65 and in this time this was the real thing with a really outstanding tone.If you take the Selmer with a good Marshall Box....A fine Guitar and a good Treble Booster.....Than you will have a real good Plexi-Sound for less of that only the Marshall Amp would cost......These Amps are not very famous and i don´t know why....
To the red Bass in the Center. This is a Vigier Passion One Bass made in 88.I found in on a Swap Market for a small money. If you like Carbone Necks...Test this one! Real good stuff...
The Ser.Nr. starts with OL....

Hi man.
You must show me recordings with your Selmer amp and cab. They are gorgeous but there's no chance to hear them with bass guitar (what to say about Rick?). I used to own PA100SV and it was really cool...

The Mockingbird may be the most "classic" design of its era and genre. Very, very cool.Kopfjaeger wrote:Oh nice Tbird and a BC Rich Mocking bird, nice!! Orange rocks!! Love my Ad200b head!!

Just recently got that '79 Mock, and its fast becoming one of my favorites
Always loved the body style of those and the old BCR Eagles.
I only own one guitar stand, and so my "group shot" backdrops are usually my floor
This one has some Ric content... (barely!)

I wanted a Mockingbird in the early 80's! I remember going to a music shop that sold them and staring at all the lovely pointy basses!! Back when BC Rich made instruments in the USA!

Congrats on the Bass !
Congrats on the Bass !
Re: new Rick-owner
Congratulations and welcome. You got a good one, from a good era. I have an MG from late 75 and an FG from mid 76. Great basses from this time frame.dirkenno wrote:Hi .
My Name is Dirk and i´m coming from Düsseldorf. This lays in good old Germany. And i´m an owner of an Rickenbacker 4001 in Jetglo built dec.75.The only modifiction I made was a little switch under the bridge PU to switch the cap off. I got a picture from it with a little from my stuff in the back.Have fun with that.
